Curated Collection Of The Best Interviews From Our Pensacola Studio

Pensacola Business Radio 02.09.16 – Guests: Dennis Caire / BCRF and Kat Bishop / Pensacon

20160209_100228

Dennis Caire / Breast Cancer Research Foundation  Representative- HOT PINK WEEKEND in PENSACOLA, FL.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. We provide critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivorship.

BCRF is the highest rated breast cancer organization in the U.S. with an A+ rating from Charity Watch and 4 out of 4 stars from Charity Navigator.

Since our founding in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, BCRF has raised more than half a billion dollars for lifesaving research. Through a unique and streamlined grants program, we seek out the brightest minds in science and medicine and give them the necessary resources to pursue their best ideas. As a result, researchers are able to make discoveries and design new approaches to address all aspects of breast cancer—and do so in record time.

“Our goal is to accelerate the breakthroughs bringing us closer to a cure to speed up the progress that will improve survivorship and quality of life for breast cancer patients today.” – Myra J. Biblowit, President & CEO

In 2015-2016, BCRF will award $48.5 million in annual grants to over 240 scientists from top universities and medical institutions around the globe. In addition, $5.4 million has been committed to the international Founder’s Fundproject focused on metastasis. Every hour of research we fund improves outcomes and saves lives. But we still have more to do.

The thousands of women and men suffering from breast cancer today depend on us. No institution can conquer this disease alone. Together, we can.

Welcome to Emerald Coast Crown Molding.

Q.What exactly is this product? How does this foam differ from standard Styrofoam I might be most familiar with?

A. This is a high density polystyrene that is created in a high temperature, high pressure press unlike regular expanded foam moldings made by other manufacturers. This is not cooler foam, packaging foam, or styrofoam.

  •  “Styrofoam” is a trademark of Dow Chemical.
  •  Styrofoam is not even an open cell foam. It is actually an extruded closed cell polystyrene material.” XPS”
  • “Styrofoam” is now a recognized name for EPS expanded polystyrene, XPS extruded polystyrene

and even polyurethane crown moldings. When you search the web you will find all three.

  • EPS is an “Expanded Polystyrene”  foam like you see in drink coolers and corners protectors that go around products in boxes.

There are several densities of EPS foams.

Example:

  •   1 lb. foam means 1lbs. per cubic foot in weight. (soft)
  •   2 lb. foam means 2 lbs. per cubic foot in weight. (harder)

Most likely you will not see any EPS greater that 2 Lb. for commercial use
and 1 lb. for packaging, hobby or household use.
Our crown moldings are 4 Lb. density.

20160202_100424

Stephanie Porter

Kevin Miller joined us in the studios with Stephanie Porter and Leanne Todd to talk about all of the great things about THRIVE.

Le-Vel was created and envisioned with a greater purpose, a premium plan. This plan is not to create a product, or a product line, but to build a global brand, a new icon. A brand that encompasses ultra premium products: premium product lines. The new brand, for the better lifestyle, premium-seeking consumers.

The largest and most successful companies in the world are extremely good at one thing. They build brands, not products. They are so good at this one focus, they can literally put their logo on anything and it is passionately accepted worldwide. As the Le-Vel vision is birthed with THRIVE, it will continue on with all of our brands and future premium products. Le-Vel will be a global giant; our logo will be on many different products, wherever you go, our logo will go with you. The quality, passion and efficacy with one product line, will flawlessly continue on to all product lines, because the true focus, our passion will always remain at its inception, The Brand: Le-Vel.

To build the Premium Lifestyle Company, we knew we had to look further than just a product, we had to envision a larger purpose, a deeper reason for what we were doing. We had to create the one and only Premium Lifestyle Brand.

What is the THRIVE Experience?

THRIVE Experience Video – What is the THRIVE Experience?

The THRIVE Experience is an 8-week premium lifestyle plan to help individuals experience and reach peak physical & mental levels. You’re going to live, look, and feel Ultra Premium like never before! Results from the THRIVE Experience are high impact, and can differ slightly from person to person, depending on your 8-week goal, and which areas of your lifestyle need the most help. Whether your goal is to lose weight, get in the best shape of your life, or simply be the best you can be, we know the 8-Week THRIVE Experience will get you THRIVIN’ in all areas of your life! Individuals on the Experience will enjoy premium support and benefits in the areas of:

  • > Weight Management+ > Cognitive Performance+
  • > Digestive & Immune Support+ > Joint Support+
  • > Lean Muscle Support+ > Aches & Discomfort Relief+
  • > Anti-Aging & Antioxidant Support+

THRIVE by Le-Vel is something that’s hard to explain, and challenging to describe… it’s something that can only be experienced.

We offer the latest in leading edge technology the telecommunications industry has to offer from IP, VOIP and hosted telephone systems, voice and data networking, local line service with unlimited local and long distance calling, and surveillance hardware. Our over 32 year track record demonstrates our commitment to our customers and our expertise in the communications industry. We have the solutions to fit your business.

This is a very complicated and confusing time in the communications industry.

The decision of what equipment to choose and the company with which to partner is a high priority matter, especially when those decisions have a direct impact on the success of your business. This is why we believe a relationship with Southeastern Telephone can be such a valuable asset to your company.
Our over thirty two year track record is an indication that we know the industry, service what we sell, and provide products that stand the test of time. Our experience in all facets of communications ensures a smooth and uneventful installation or service that will allow you to stay focused on your business and not the telecommunications business. At a time when many companies are treating telecom products and services as a commodity, we can only say that logically mission critical voice and data systems don’t fall into that category.

Sarah May / SpringDale Travel
Business Development Manager

Mission Statement

Springdale Travel creates opportunities for citizens of the world to make the most of their time and experience the world face-to-face in any way they choose.

We strive to promote life-enriching experiences and secure the joy of travel for our clients and for all those who venture to leave home.

Why is a travel agent important to you?

In an age where the internet provides us incredible resources, it is still a challenge to ensure your vacation is properly planned and best meets your needs. Too much information on the web is self-serving and biased, too price driven, and one person’s opinion may or may not reflect a general standard. There is already much controversy about how much a consumer can trust what they read on the web.

Discerning travelers rely on a travel expert to ensure they make the travel plans that truly fits best and that they receive the best value for their money.

It’s not about spending less on a vacation, but spending wisely for an experience one wants.

We’ll make sure your vacation is fantastic — not because it’s the cheapest one, but because it best meets your needs and desires. In this respect, you receive the best value. But we don’t want you to have to take our word for it, just read some comments from our raving fans!

Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance.

We work hard to earn your trust and loyalty. We hope you’ll also find that to be the case as our vacation planners look forward to handling your travel arrangements.

Service Fees

If you are interested in knowing exactly what we charge for which services, please feel free to take a look.

We always do our very best to quote your trip at the very best value for you, but , if you have ever find another rate online that appears to be or is lower than something your Springdale Travel agent has quoted you, please let your agent know. We can often explain what isn’t being shown, or, if the rate really is different for the same trip, we can often price match with our suppliers.
